Established in May 2005, Richards Security Services offer a complete range of security, stewarding and crowd management services throughout the UK delivered by our professional team of fully qualified and experienced SIA licensed Door Supervisors, Static Guards, CCTV Security and experienced Stewards.

Susan Richards - Managing Director
Susan Richards - Managing Director

Sue has over 40 years recruitment experience, 21 years events experience, and a hands on approach, actively working with all our clients. Sue believes the success of any business lies in the experience, enthusiasm and commitment of its staff and actively encourages new ideas and change. Sue can be contacted 24/7, allowing for greater flexibility with any situation.

Vic Richards - Operations Director
Vic Richards - Operations Director

Vic is a qualified engineer with over 37 years experience. His background has included working for the Bayer Group as a site manager for 7 years. Vic has worked in the Events services business for 18 years and is accomplished at leading from the front line while liaising with clients.

Kevin Darcy - Director of Security
Kevin Darcy - Director of Security

Kevin D'Arcy has a wealth of experience and expertise gained from over 25 years working within the Security Industry. Having been responsible for running the security operations of many of the most prestigious sporting events and venues in the UK, his list of high profile clients only confirms his vast knowledge of the field. His in-depth knowledge of health and safety and risk assessments has seen him sit on a number of safety advisory groups.

Jane Davenport-Simpson

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS Jane has over 35 years HR and Recruitment experience and manages the Finance, Administration and HR side of the business, and ensures that we are compliant with the various and ever-changing legislations as well as monitoring systems and procedures. Having first-hand experience of recruitment and HR issues as both a Client and as a Consultant gives Jane the unique ability to offer support and advice to both colleagues and clients.

Business development director With over 19 years recruitment experience James has an enviable reputation within the recruitment industry, creating bespoke recruitment solutions for some of the UK's leading companies. James has a hands on approach and proven track record currently supplying everything from smaller businesses through to global and FTSE100 companies.

Laura Travis
Laura Travis

Sales and Recruitment Manager With over 20 years of business’ experience, Laura joined Richards Events in June 2018. She has a background in Business Development, Customer Services and Sales Management, and has worked in the UK & US. She is excellent at building client relationships, always focusing on the needs of the customer and providing a high- quality service,whilst generating additional revenue.

Grace Blackman
Grace Blackman

Operations and Compliance Assistant Grace is currently on maternity leave until January 2022.

Margaret Sadlier
Margaret Sadlier

Recruitment Consultant Margaret joined the team in early 2018 as a recruitment assistant to our consultants. Working mainly alongside James, Margaret oversees the vetting and referencing. Margaret also phone screens potential candidates before commencing the interview process. She is the main contact for admin and payroll duties. Margaret is responsible for maintaining, testing and improving the design of the websites.
